Internet Marketing For Dummies

No, you’re not a dummy, and neither am I.  But I’m new to the traffic exchange/ safelist  side of internet marketing where a whole vocabulary exists that I hadn’t known before:  rented referrals, splash pages, paid to clicks, etc etc etc.  I’d hesitated to go into great detail on this blog about this new hobby of mine because my entrepreneurial adhd might be making your head spin.  I have a skin care business, a greeting cards business, a video email/webinar business, and a social media business.  None of the businesses are currently pulling in a full time income by themselves because I also have two special needs kids who are my top priority.  But working all of my businesses together in short snippets of time has allowed me to pull in multiple streams of income, keeping me a stay at home mom even after I’ve left the more lucrative top 2% of the skin care business in order to spend more time with my special needs children.

I wasn’t looking for another business so when I stumbled onto Click Track Profit I called it a hobby.  Then I started making money.  oops.  I’d been on hits4pay and a few other sites for years, just plunking along and getting hundreds (NOT thousands) of dollars in my spare time, not considering it a business— just spending a few minutes a day here and there.  But once I realized there’s a whole world of learning to be done in the traffic exchange/ safelist/ paid to click industry, I started digging in.  Click Track Profit has free training modules.  You can go as quickly or as slowly as you need to.  You can earn badges and make your learning into a game.  You can participate in the chat while surfing and make friends.  As you make friends, people want to know what you’re up to.  People begin to know and trust you…. you begin to recommend some of your products and programs, and suddenly you’ve got more streams of income.  Referring people to CTP itself also makes you income as your referrals upgrade in the system (optional).

Logging onto Click Track Profit and clicking on “training” is truly all you need to do to start becoming an expert in this form of internet marketing and this world of surfers.  But for the true beginner I’ve created an autoresponder email series.  So…. won’t you join me on Click Track Profit and on my autoresponder series?  Joining CTP and my series is free.  I’d love to help you create a side income in this way if you’re interested!  You can also learn more on my “Easy Money” page.

PS— this is something easy you can do long after you’re able to work your direct sales or other businesses that require people to answer the phone.  I do this at midnight.  Get to know people in the chats, surf, put up my banners, log into the training modules…..   I hope to “see” you inside CTP!

Wow, I learned something new! Thank you for sharing this Heather.

  4. This is great advice! I love the extra money I make from online earning programs like Clixsense, Hits4pay and Neobux. Are you able to incorporate those programs into your Click Track Profit program? Or do I always have to promote Click Track Profit? I haven’t done much on that in a while but I would like to do it a couple times a week.

    • Heather Price says:

absolutely you can incorporate— as you get to know people through CTP (people you refer or people you meet in the chat while nerdsurfing), encourage them to join your programs. In the CTP training, in order to get through all the steps, you DO need to promote CTP a *LOT* (I’m on the final step of expert where I need 1000 hits to my CTP splash on a BUNCH of diff TE’s—– but hey, it’s the way to get CTP referrals! BUT while you’re doing the training you can promote your other stuff too as much as you’d like.

  5. My only thought would be, if you have your hands in so many pots, how can you put your heart and soul into each and every one. Focus on the top two or so that work really well for you and make them work better. Interesting story. Good luck!

good point! I’m definitely NOT putting my heart and soul into everything. My heart and soul goes in this order—– to my family, and then to my primary business (Mary Kay). What’s left over goes to SOC and WowWe (this blog helps fellow direct sellers learn a bit more about those companies to help them promote their direct sales businesses) and on the side just a few hours a week I do my social media business (I have 2, 3, and 5 hour per week packages– that’s IT!) and this new hobby slash business of CTP and paid to clicks, etc— frankly this is what I typically do at midnight when I can’t sleep. During the day while my kids are at school I focus mostly on kid stuff (talking to their doctors, making appointments, finding their paperwork, etc) and Mary Kay. :)

  6. Great post, it’s always good to learn something new. I noticed too that if I concentrate on 1 or 2 things I can be a lot more focused and get better results.

  8. Hi Heather! I just wrote a blog post warning internet marketing/money making newbies about a popular scam going around regarding purchasing Neobux direct referrals.
